Is it too early to start composting?

it's almost the start of spring & things are starting to warming up here on the Gold Coast. Was wondering if I should start composting the tropical garden now or wait a few more weeks? Are there any tropical plants that don't like compost?
thanks everyone

Hi mobynoby, what do you mean by composting? If you are asking if you can spread compost over your flower beds now than I think you can do it whenever you have compost available. I ususaly do it when I have to empty my bin and use it for the next batch. I think all plants like compost, most do not like to be burried in it but and addition to the soil is beneficial.
