Is it too early to start composting?

it's almost the start of spring & things are starting to warming up here on the Gold Coast. Was wondering if I should start composting the tropical garden now or wait a few more weeks? Are there any tropical plants that don't like compost?
thanks everyone

| Hi mobynoby, what do you mean by composting? If you are asking if you can spread compost over your flower beds now than I think you can do it whenever you have compost available. I ususaly do it when I have to empty my bin and use it for the next batch. I think all plants like compost, most do not like to be burried in it but and addition to the soil is beneficial. |
