| I have a realy ugly wall, about 4m high on the south end of my garden. I saw some G.sylvia and thought this was the ideal screen for the wall. Q: How do I prune this plant to provide thick bushy compact growth, and get the height that I require? |

| If it's growing ok, leave it till it finishes flowering and then clip away the flowering stems. If it has flowered and grown a bit, clip-cum-shape it by cutting back a bit further, not a lot. It will thicken, and flower more prolifically. Good luck, G. Sylvia is a nice grevillea if you can get it to grow ok. Also, you know, now and again give it a bit of 'seasol' and also a sprinkle of blood and bone. |
