cassia fistula seed set

| I have a 10yr old cassia fistula which flowers well each year but has never set seed.Is this a common occurence? |

Which part of Qld are you from .
Some plants react to the area. as in climate and soil .
how far are you from the coast ? |

| Yes could be.. I do live inland from Bris...It may have something to do with the lower humidity & unpredictable rainfall or lack thereof ,although have noticed one nearby with pods...just thought that this may be how they are sometimes....although it flowers beautifully each year without fail...Thanks. |

Inland from Brisbane is known to be somewhat dry of late .
but water from Toowoomba will save the plants .....??? |
