| Does anyone know if the Bernard York cannas are available here in Oz,I have seen these on a Usa canna site & they are beautiful!! |

I think they are. I believe they were bred in Australia. Try googling in 'canna lilies bernard yorke' and I think you will find what you are looking for.

I also saw the American website and did a lot of research. This is what I found:- Bernard Yorke lives in Brisbane (I think it was Park Ridge) and is probably in the phone book. I didn't have the courage to ring him.
There was no info about this on any websites so had to do a bit of asking around to track information down and cannot find anywhere that sells his selections in Australia - so getting in touch with him is probably the only option if you have your heart set on them. |

Thanks Dee & Plantsplus for your posts. What I meant to post was: if there was a source for these cannas here in Oz.
I know Bernard lives in Bris but perhaps has contractual aggreement whereby can only sell through Usa Nursery. He certainly has the gift for hybridizing some of the most beautiful cannas |
