frangipani cutting...

I have been given a frangipani cutting but dont know what to do with it some say to let it dry out before planting can somebody let me know if this right...

I have been told to let them dry out for about a week. I have a few potted at the moment waiting to plant out.

Yes that is right I usually leave my cuttings for about two weeks to dry out,
You can leave them longer then I pot them up and dont water too much as they will rot
