Daphne cneorum--Rose Daphne

| My Hubbie is trying to locate Daphne cneorum--Rose Daphne which he grew very well in the NW USA..... we are in NW Tasmania and he feels the climate would be ok for it here.
A web search did not help us very much.....
Any suggestions?

| Woodbank Nursery near Hobart had about 15 species and varieties of Daphne in their catalogue but they've closed down. I don't think there would have been a nursery in Australia that had the range of interesting plants that Ken Gilanders propagated. What a shame. |

I too find it hard to spot any Daphnes at all at local nurseries here in NSW. (Flower Powers you name it..) I mean have people forgotten about this wonderfully scented shrub. |
