Storing worm farm castings. How to store worm castings?

Posted by newyorkerinsydney (My Page) on

Hello friends,

I just harvested all of my worm farm castings. I would like to store them and would like your experienced advice on how to best store these castings for use in the Spring? Should I dry it out, leave it damp, put in ziplock bags or airtight containers, stick in paper bag? I have no idea. I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

for me i'd be putting them in the garden wherever now, storage might result in loss of benefit, also would need to be dry i would imagine as stored wet in bags it could rot or mildew.

our worm farming now occurs in the gardens where the benefits are delivered direct and where they are needed most.
