WE have one lady living in Zone 10, essentially no frost, who is advertising dinkum raspberries as being good for my area which is 9 1/2. About 200 chill hours if that. If anyone knows I would much appreciate knowing where they grow in Australia. In terms of chill hours and general weather. Hot and humid? Hot and dry? Like any standard raspberry such as heritage?
I've tried rubus moluccanus , it blooms rather profusely then browns and drops the blossoms--no fruit-- and is considered a noxious weed here so I let it go. Thanks, Sharon |
