When one has to sit through three videos with sound of adverts for cars jello and whatever, just to read one message , i think it is time to give this forum away. Anyone else experiencing this problem or have I caught some advert virus?

I haven't had any adverts while reading messages but can understand your frustration.

The jello has been persistent today. Just click on "stop" (or words to that effect) beside the ad.

I use Firefox with Adblock, and I've never seen an ad on GardenWeb.

Chardy, I also use Firefox, but switched to Internet Explorer one day to see what it was that was causing another member grief. I can certainly understand why you are pulling your hair out!

I would strongly recommend that anyone who wants to continue using Internet Explorer as their browser, install Firefox, with the Adblock extension, simply to use on this site - especially those who are on dial up.

It is mandatory for anyone on the web to run good virus, spyware program etc. programs. I run Mcafee and it is fine for me.
