Darling turf teasers
There's this wallaby or mini-kangaroo thing stalking my flowers. It knows where I am and when I come and go. It waits and watches, then eats my flowers. I hate it. It laughs at me and my attempts to twart it. How can I thwart it? Uncle Remiggio wants to kill it but it outsmarts him every time. Please help

Hi there

What sort of flowers is he eating ?

I have to put a wire guard around any trees, that I plant in my bushy area, else they get nibbled by the wallabies.

The guard is about 1.8 m high, with two wooden stakes.

Not allowed to kill the wallaby, you have to live in harmony with it !

Good luck. Perhaps you need to fence your garden area.

Can I give you some rat-eaten pumpkins for the yowies to use to throw at them and scare them off?

a dog - or at least borrow a friends dog poo and spread the poo around the garden - the smell of a carnivor should be enough to scare it off (theoretically)

or do what one of the pommie gardeners has done on TV to keep foxes away from his chooks - put human hair clippings in some pantyhose and tie them to a fence - if it is spooked by you, it may be spooked by your smell??
