Pam The thalia is available at waterlily acres at Canungra They have a web site (waterlily acres) do mail order and have it in 3 sizes, tube size is $5. It seems that this place is for sale though due to illhealth so dont dally about ordering. Alternately I have seeds on my red thalia as a back up (- just not sure how to tell if they are ripe |

Chardy The outer covering holding the seed will die off when the seeds are ripe. |

| Liatris, I have seen Furcraea foetida 'Mediopicta' for sale at Canelands Nursery at Hervey Bay some time ago. Don't know if they still have any but I know they weren't cheap. I just recently (2 weeks ago) disposed of my last spare Furcraea to a friend of mine here in Bundy but if I see any around this area I will let you know. Andrew. |

| Have found furcraea, at a considerably better price than I was expecting (will still have to save up though lol) and have gotten the red-stemmed canna on Ebay and I finally found the Carphalea I've been trying to get for the past 18 months. One very happy gardener here! :) |
