time for SEQ to batten down the hatches?

With Wati now heading south or south east - all of the Oz Garden forumers in SEQ should think about their garden safety. No need to panic just yet, just have your loose stuff tidied up and be ready to do whatever's necessary to be safe.

theres a weather warning on the BOM site

Maybe this one will let mistymorn and all of the other Brisbnaites put away their buckets when the dams get filled. :-)

We are not getting much as yet Paradisi....Wednesday 9mm, Thursday 10mm and this morning we have had a few showers, nothing much in it though, but when it does rain its very windy and coming from the East which does not happen very often here, I see it coming over the horizion from my back decking thats NE I just hope it rains in the right places so those Dams can get filled up..Such a shame it is heading back out to sea but they have turned and come back before so we can only hope...Cheers...MM.

yep all gone now pretty quickly realy little hiss n wind like the barbers cat not much of anything else wet wise, nothing for the over the range crwod.

now all we gotta do is hope that it may go down toward nz then say hey it's way too cold down here and turn back and come into the southern south pacific spin up and cross the coast around the mackay area, now that one gave the whole state below the over drenched north a good soaking.

anyone recal what year that was, all i can recal is it happend in the past 5 or 6 year period sometime.

Well thank you Len.

This morning is very windy, with a bit of rain.
I don't mind the rain as we have been a bit low on the wet stuff for couple of months, in auckland.
I will have to look for a sweatshirt and get off to work.
