Frangipani

My Frangipani,[cream with yellow centres and planted about 4 metres apart] were doing well: new leaves, flowers then grasshoppers made a mess of the leaves. Since then the end of the branches have rotted and are dieing off.
What can I do for them? They have been in the ground 3yrs.
I have bought a couple of the fancy new ones and do not want this disease to spread to them.

Plumeria prefer to be grown in the Sun and dont like a lot of water.
Black tip Fungus likes cool wet and shady areas, perhaps a raised garden bed in the Sun.
If it has to raining too much ( Send some down here ) for the next ones.

Have a look at the Link below and good luck with the new ones ....Cheers..MM.

Here is a link that might be useful: Plumeria Problems

Thanks MM
They are in the sun and one is in a raised bed. Normally they rely on rain and we had so much that that would be the problem.thanks for the link.

RE: Frangipani

Send your rain this way.

We plant our frangis in the toughest, driest spot we can find and totally neglect them and they are thriving. We had to use a pick to dig the holes as it was so rocky and hard.

Good luck with them.
