my paw paw seedlings came out looking like this - are they really paw paws or something else?






NO MATTER WHAT iVILLAGE THINKS - my photos are protected by copywrite because they are mine and they are on photobucket and you can not use them unless you pay me.

They weren't the red ones, by any chance were they? I visited a garden a while ago, and the large shrub with similar-looking leaves to yours was identified by the owner as a red paw paw.

Not a pawpaw but a species of Manihot, possibly M. dulcis.

Definitely Manihot, might be regular Manihot esculenta? Paradisi, it's a great plant, look after it. Good eating too.
