my paw paw seedlings came out looking like this - are they really paw paws or something else?
NO MATTER WHAT iVILLAGE THINKS - my photos are protected by copywrite because they are mine and they are on photobucket and you can not use them unless you pay me. |

| They weren't the red ones, by any chance were they? I visited a garden a while ago, and the large shrub with similar-looking leaves to yours was identified by the owner as a red paw paw. |

| Not a pawpaw but a species of Manihot, possibly M. dulcis. |

| Definitely Manihot, might be regular Manihot esculenta? Paradisi, it's a great plant, look after it. Good eating too. |
