I am finding that Firefox is much quicker when using 'Garden web' . Internet Explorer takes ages and you get all the annoying US pop ups. Ian

Ian - I absolutely agree. I switched to firefox months ago and find it quicker with lots less ads and pop ups on lots of sites. Thank goodness for free shareware independents.

I second the previous comments - we switched to Firefox about 12 months back and find it much better than the alternatives. Nothing worse than waiting waiting waiting for things to load. Wishing all a great gardening New Year with well spread rains!

Ian, do you know if we can go to firefox, and then if we do'nt like it go back to IE.

Thanks Greg.

RE: Firefox quicker

Greg, you can easily run both. You just need to choose which is your default browser--the one that will automatically open when you click on a link. (Just click No when Firefox asks you if it should be your default browser and this will leave your existing browser as the default.) My advice is to download Firefox (see link below) and use it for websites with the most annoying pop-ups, leaving your existing browser for the other sites. If you don't like Firefox, you can stop using it or uninstall it but, either way, your existing browser will remain unaffected.

Here is a link that might be useful: Download Mozilla Firefox here
