ah the folk of brissy must be watching cartoons dunno??

next month the GCC is to allow their gardeners/water users and others a free use water weekend (2 days), using brisbane water, whilst their dams are full and ours are dangerously low and our mayor calling for the Gov to declare a water supply disaster for this region.

so guess his next move is to be allowed to divert treated sewerage water into our mains for us to drink??? anyhow let the GC yuppies rule supreme.

a bit of decency they should pump some of their water back our way hey, after all the brissy constituants paid for the current main so water could be suplied to the GC, and the GC want a larger main built so they can get even more water, and again the brissy rate payers and water users will pick up the tab and inconvenience.

I agree with you Len in most points..
I am led to beleive the Wivenhoe dam is partly owned and paid for by Gold Coast City Council so thats one good thing.
i dont agree on letting people use water for the garden just because our dam is now high, were still getting water from Brissy I beleive so its stupid of our mayor to do this! Hes a wanker anyway (sorry for the swearing)..
You will be happy to know though Len that our water rates have increased massively the past few years mostly to pay for a dam that should have been increased 10 years ago by our stupid council!

Anyway, crap happens.
