Anybody like a good cry at a movie??

My daughter was watching this movie yesterday while I was on the computer (which is in a nook in the lounge room).
I wasn't even watching it yet by the end, I was sobbing into a tissue.
It was sooooo sad!
Called "The Notebook". The only star I recognized was James Garner.
Remember the tissues! you have been warned!!

Hi Annie,
I love a good cry watching a movie (or almost anything for that matter). I reckon a good cry or a really good laugh are cleansing for the soul. It gets rid of all those pent up emotions and makes you feel good!
Cheers,
Dee.

I like a good sleep during a movie. For that reason movies like "Driving Miss Daisy" make perfect viewing - you can sleep most of the way through and don't feel as if you have missed any of it.

I prefer horror - the scarier, the better. Nothing like a whole lot of blood, gore, stabbing, shooting, strangling and screaming to keep me watching. Fight scenes and love scenes that go on and on send me to sleep.

I like mystery, murder, horror or similar as long as it isn't romance, usually fast forward the 'boring bits' as we call the kissing scenes, etc. Also love a good comedy, especially combined with a mystery, etc. Don't like silly comedies though.

Wish they would put more good movies on tv though, usually have to go to the video shop to get a decent show and as we are out of town we can't just duck in if there isn't anything interesting on. TV seems to be full of reality (more like unreality - if that is a word) shows. I might start a new thread about tv shows.

Annie,
Try watching Steel Magnolias, if you can get through that movie without a box of tissues, you've got a steel heart baby!!! I must've watched it a million times and I still end up balling my eyes out!!!

Absolutely, Mel.
That's another that I ALWAYS have a cry.
