Joining Garden Web for NZ residents

This forum is pretty quiet, and I am guessing that this is because there are not many NZ members. One reason for this could be the difficulty in registering from NZ - it took me several attempts and I nearly gave up. I thought therefore that it would be useful to post instructions to help others who have difficulty:-
1. Although you are allowed to choose NZ as your country, it is still necessary to choose one of the US states. I choose Washington state as being about the same latitude.
2. It will not accept our NZ postcodes. I initially chose a Washington postcode but later found that it needs a five digit code and it WILL accept a NZ postcode if you put in a leading zero. |

A lot of people stopped posting when Village took over the site. That Other guy Spike did not have all the popups that show up. The Aussies went off to build their own site.
I had joined before you had to have all the postcodes Etc:
