Borage

I notice that where borage has self-seeded in the vegie garden not much is doing well around it. The plants are vast and lush; the bees are ecstatic. The nearby peas are miserable as, and the shallots are positively shy, though further away the chives are booming. Borage and my roses seem to be exclusive. Despite being a mere seed-spit away, borage does not develop in the rose garden. What other plant antipathies have been noticed? (Save myself unnecessary disappointment!)

Wow, I've never seen any reference to Borage inhibiting growth! Maybe thats SILs problem - she's got it surrounding her entire vege patch and I put the poor vege growth down to being on peat swamp. Maybe I should abvise her to pull it out! I had a look on the link below, but it doesn't say anything bad about it. Sorry you're having problems.
