I can't offer you a web site, but whats the matter with books. I have a few. The Water Garden by Anthony Archer-wills is excellent and also shows how to make the ponds etc,its Angus & Robertson. Although English is full of good suggestions. Then there is an Australian one by Mary Moody, not as good but still informative, called Creating Water Gardens. Using these books I designed a water garden consisting of 4 ponds and three streams,in an area of the garden that for generations had been a rubbish dump. Take your time, and design on paper, with all dimensions etc before you start, it will change as you start to dig and see the difference in the terrain, but its fun. I did ours about 4 years ago and now with judicious planting it looks as though its always been here, goodluck Judie

Chris, I just wondered how far you have got with your water garden, has the summer been a good one for gardening?here we have almost had no summer just the occassional hot day. South Sest Victoria seems to have missed out. Missed out on the rain too. Been most peculiar. Judie

Hi I checked this site the other day and found it interesting. www.tetra-fish.co.uk You can design your own pool and it tells you what you need how many plants it will cope with and how many fish will survive in the size pool you design. Worht a look.
