Loquate from Seeds?

I have a loquat tree in the yard. Beautiful fruit!
Please, does anyone know whether and how the seeds' "off-spring" will bear fruit?

Yes you can grow loquat from seed it may not come true to the parent so you may be better of taking cuttings. You could grow some seedling and get some of the parent grafted onto the seedlings. Heather

Hi, could you please help me ? I have a loquate tree in my yard full of ripe fruit. Do you have a recipe how to preserve or make jelly out of it ?

My favourite jam books failed me so I did a search and came up with this one:

It's not metric, unfortunately.

I think I'd agree with the use of pectin rather than using lemon juice. Possibly mixing with apples to get the 'set' you're wanting.

The worst bit is bound to be taking out those big brown seeds!

Me? I'd rather eat them fresh.
