Pohutakawa from seed

While on vacation in NZ I bought some pohutakawa seeds in Auckland Botanic Gardens. Have followed instructions carefully but after 12 weeks they still haven't germinated. Do I give up hope or should I hang in there for another month or two?

RE: Pohutakawa from seed

Most NZ native seed do better if sown fresh, Pohutukawa self seeds really easily so be patient I am sure the seeds are still viable.
