cabbage trees

| could someone please explain how to process cabbage tree seeds after they are taken off the tree.. I have tried to grow these from seed a number of times and failed.. |

| Hi there, the most important thing is to make sure the seeds are totally ripe before you harvest them for sowing. It can also take a couple of months or so for them to germinate so don't give up too soon. I always raise my seed by putting them in punnets of seed raising mix (planted at twice the depth of the size of the seed) and leave them sitting somewhere shady making sure they don't dry out... Ignore them slightly and they will thrive! Hope this helps... Philippa |
