Garden visits Auckland - Rotorua i nSept.

I'm visiting Auckland, Hamilton and Rotorua Sept 5 -11. Can any one recommend gardens to visit. I have a special interest in Tropical/sub-tropical type gardens and a general interest in all graden types. Any suggestions appreciated. Many thanks

I can't say for Auckland or Rotorua, but in Hamilton, you definately have to stop in at the Hamilton Gardens (Open free of charge to the public 7 days a week): www.hamiltongardens.co.nz

Another is Woodlands(private). Its gardens are quite small, but it makes a lovely function venue: www.woodlands.co.nz

This site gives a good range of gardens to visit, but not all gardens have websites to browse.
