| Hi there, I am coming over in Jan 2006, landing in ChCh and would like to get to see some botanical gardens while in the south island. Can anyone suggest where to go in ChCh itself(I can remember the flower clock from childhood!) and on the west coast as well. Thanks in advance, Tina |

Tina, How long has it been since you were in Christchurch?
There is a hotel where once Victoria ST used to run up from the corner of Armagh & Colombo - plus the Town Hall is next to it [cnr Colombo & Kilmore].
The botanical gardens are still there. I believe the Square has been redesigned into a mess LOL... West Coast - I don't know of any botanical gardens over there but there's plenty of 'bush'....

| thanks for the tips cath. it has been near on 20 years since i have been back!! it's really going to be a reminiscence trip...meeting my sister and doing the trips that we used to do as a family. Hey in your trade list you say white bird of paradise...is that the giant white one, nicoli??? if so i have seeds if you would like them, tho no plants to offer. let me know, tina |
