Is this plant native to NZ? Anyone down under know it?

Please look at this creeping plant on my webpage:

This is NOT native to the US and so far have not been able to identify it. Seems to like a temperate climate. On my page I said that nothing eats it but I am wrong. My chicken eats it as does my horse and deer. It is a lovely plant that I am hoping to find a name for. Seems to be a member of the chickory family. I appreciate your time in looking this over. Thanks, Carol

Thanks to all for your help. We have found that it is native to Japan. Ixeris stolonifera or Creeping lettuce.
