Hi

Im a geologist in the states and purchased a grubber in NZ about 6 years ago. I loved my grubber. I recently accidentally buried it in a trench and need to get another one. Can someone please point me to where I could purchase one online. I checked mitre and didnt see it listed on their webpage.

Please help...I miss it terribly.

Thanks for any help!!!

You might want to hunt for it using the term 'mattock'. I believe there's a company called Union Tools which could probably provide you with what you're after and they'd be local to you.

There was a free phone listed as 1-800-888-5196

If that doesn't help, please return and we'll see what can be done with a touch of #8 and some baling twine ;-).

thanks for the reply....

I checked them out as you suggested, but it seems that the mattock's have ends which are 90 degrees from eachother (if that makes sense). I like the grubber because both ends are aligned in the same direction and they are different sizes. I like that...one end for chopping and one end for cleaning/scraping.

Is "grubber" the official name?

Thanks again for your time!!

Pick?
According to wickipedia, a pickaxe has a pointed end at one end, and a pick is pointed at both ends. That makes searching on google very difficult as "pick" has so many meanings.
