| I am planning a trip to NZ in July, with the intention of looking at NZ flora, and combining that with skiing.
What are the good spots for skiing in NZ ? Just average skier with family in tow.

| You could start your Google-search with Whakapapa, Rainbow, Mt Hutt, Coronet Peak and see if any of those would suit. North Island - Otari Plant Museum in Wellington (Wilton Bush) is well worth a look. If you end up near Taupo then you could look in at the native plant nursery on Centennial Drive. Not sure who is running it now. Used to be Department of Conservation. There was another one outside of Christchurch at Birdlings Flat near Lake Ellesmere. Any particular kind of NZ flora? |
