market garden cabbage lay question

ok..so Ive driven by paddoks of market garden cabbages and wondered for years now how come these cabbages are not disturbed by the white butterfly...I never see any and look real hard and there is never any wholes in te ones in the super market..got any ideas..surely they wouldnt use that much insectiside?

They are sprayed. With what I know not, probably the same safe spray we are being sprayed with in west Auckland for the apple moth.
Sometimes you can get a slug in the supermarket cabbages.
