I also found www.dayout.co.nz which gave similar information. I noticed you were a rose fan. You might enjoy the Nancy Steen Rose Garden in Auckland. She authored 'The Charm of Old Roses' and made many trips to collect antique roses from old settlements around New Zealand. Another possible is Egmont Roses in Taranaki - which is a nursery business. I believe they also do 'old' roses and Austin roses. Other gardens which may be of interest - Ayrlies, Moss Green (which is more for woodland plants), the various city botanical gardens. You might also want to google on the various societies and make contact with the secretaries to see what they would suggest. Hope that gives you a few starters.
