| Hi. Some time ago (maybe four months?) I told you all about a bag I bought from Avon that you store potatoes in. I also have one for onions and garlic. I promised to let you know if they really do the trick (that is, keeping them fresh longer), and I can happily report that the bags do as the advertisement promised. I am very happy with them. I haven't had a smelly potato since. My post got removed, probably because it looked as though I was promoting the company or its products, but that wasn't my intention. I merely mentioned the bags because we were discussing storage for potatoes. |

| From me - thanks for coming back with the update. For the few of us who use the forum I can't imagine anyone would have complained about your citing a source. It's definitely not as if you were touting for business at all. I still think they sound like a really good idea: heaps better than those plastic affairs which let in the light and turn the spuds green. The problem is actually finding an A... Lady!
