Noticed this littlefellow on the new growth. We don't get many these days.

Interesting.
Are all your ladybirds that colour?
Ours are smaller, red/orange colour with far fewer spots.

We have lots of ladybirds on our plants Chas especially the roses they and the Ladybird Larvae eat the aphids..
Mind you we have so many aphid its not possible for them to eat them all.
That looks like a couple to me Chas.

The few that i've seen are brown and black.-i think this fellow must have blown down from Misty's on the north wind!!
On a ladybird web site there are many different colours and
markings in Australia but we don't see many around here.
There was really only one specimen Misty,just a very ordinary picture after playing with the magnification.

Hi Chas, The only ones I have seen down our way are red and black. Nice to see them still around.
