Actually here in Brisbane lots of these Spring Flowering bulbs flower in the late Winter.
Here are a few of the different colours that flowered in August.

Thanks so much Chas.. No I have not noticed that at all they still have a very powerful perfume. Could be because mine are about five years old now, so older varieties. Cheers Mary-Anne |

Love your fantastic fotos. Thank you for sharing. I too, have noticed that some of the florists freesias lack any perfume. So I refuse to buy those, even though they are lovely to look at. Been looking forward for some blooms from your side of the world. Hope you will post many more in the cold winter (for us) coming. Regards Inga |
