Thanks Chas.. Yes they do look like that some of them..I am on a Art site and have lots of American friends and they talk about the flower images I submit and I was told they call them Paper Flowers over there, I thought that strange as I knew they call the Bougainvillea paper flowers, that's the worst about common names different places, different names.

Fantastic. I haven't seen such variety. Here, ranunculus seem to be cultivated as large full heads, meant to be cut flowers. Yours make me think of popies.
