Rosa Freisia.

And this is R. Freisia (or freesia). Some say the best yellow rose ever produced as it has no hint of copper or gold in the colouring. That was a few years ago, I think now there are later varieties that might rival it; I haven't seen one, though. Oh, and the scent is gorgeous.

    Great rose that !! -- had one Bill but I lost it during a rushed transplant.

    PS: The frangipani you sent down to me a few years ago is still going great - flowered for months last season.

    Does look good. My father used to have roses, but can't grow them here.

    I am not a rose grower but I certainly admire them and anyone who grows them. This is an absolute beauty. The yellow is truly 'mellow', a salve for the soul. Thanks for sharing.
