Name of the O.

This is an unnamed orchid given to me by a neighbour in 2008 - no label. It's flowered once before but I've no record of having photoed it before. Just wondering if anyone out there has a name for it.

Hi Funnelweb,

That's a nice looking orchid. Definately a Dendrobium - I think it's a white variety of D. speciosum (considered D. kingianum as well but got over it :) )

Why not post it on the orchid gallery forum?
Those guy's are very "savvy".

I agree with Ted, it's definitely D. speciosum. They range right up the east coast so there are a lot of varietal differences. Sometimes referred to as Rock Lily, King Orchid, etc.

Thanks folks, I'll now go put a label on it.
