| Just wondering if there's anyone else out there who has the privacy to indulge in a bit of 'nude' gardening? Your garden needs to be at least in a semi-rural location providing a comfortable degree of privacy, of course: nothing worse than the feeling of being watched, and even more so, offending. Ever enjoyed being that extra step closer to all of nature? The touch of the wind and rain and the brush of greenery against you skin; the warmth of the sun; the scent of the flowers - somehow they all seems to be more alive, more sensual, unencumbered by clothes. An hour or two in the early morning before the sun does your skin any damage, for example. Well, just wondering.

| sort of.... when we were getting our bathroom renovated, my husband rigged up the hose in the pegola. It was summer, naturally!! and I carefully checked out all angles before I stripped. Didn't want to traumatize the neighbours, you know!! |

| Well there you go annie, good on you. You do need privacy though, otherwise you just don't feel comfortable and that totally defeats the purpose. I have 6 neighbours bordering my bit-over-an-acre garden and since we've been here (wife 'n self) I've been planting discreet 'bushy' bushes so I don't accidently shock anyone. One neighbour, Bob and Pauline, couldn't care less, and fortunately they are the only ones with a 'high' (two story) house, but the others, whilst we're all good and sharing neighbours, I'm, well, overly careful not to distrub the status quo. Not that I think they'd care less. And mostly (most of the day) I'm clothed anyway. Mornings are the nicest when the birds and creatures are about and the breeze is fresh and, well yes, the insects too. By the way, I just heard back from the Frangipanny people who propagate the plumera podica x obtusifolia hybrids. Will copy and paste their response under that heading. Regards. Bill |
