| He's a very handsome fellow, and almost seems to be looking sideways at you in that last shot and saying "Buzz off, can't you see I'm BUSY!" Lovely shots. That "ginger" is one of my favourites. I found out from cutting some stems of the flowers once for the house, that cuttings will root very easily in water, a great way to multiply the plants quickly as its a stunning colour. |

| Yes it does look that way Alison Only this time I was no where near it as I took these photo's with my 70-200 mm telephoto lens. Then cropped the pics... I like that *ginger* too and have grown more from that one plant |

| Lovely shots Mary Anne. Of course, blue is my favorite colour. Wish I could get hold of a ginger like that, must try if the shop bought roots will take. (I can purchase Australian, crystallized ginger here,) |
|
| Thank You Inga its not a real Ginger.. Thats its common name.. I know the organic ones sprout roots here, not sure about the shop bought ones where you are.. They wont here as I think they have been sprayed with something so they will keep longer. I don't think it will work either, nice idea though.. |

| MM if life ever went anything like "normal" I think I'd be buying a new camera and begging you for lessons. I think the D. makes seeds though- berries perhaps? |
|
| Not sure about that one Alison I will keep a watch out on my big plant and let you know later. Last year was the first time it flowered and it only had two flower stems. What a lovely thing to say Thank You So Much.. |

| Hi there Chas and Thanks.. Would you believe I have seen quite a few of the bees on my plants lately. Mind you I am finding it so hard to get a pic of them they dont keep still long enough. And I am getting slower.. Friday I got a couple of pics of our Leaf- Cutter bee, you would know which one I mean. Cheers Mary-Anne |
