Hi.
We've had such a wet season in this semi-sub-tropical climate that right now, in the heat of a wet summer, the alamandas are 'bloomin' marvellous'. This is the white variety: Alamanda blanchettii, 'Siam Snow'. This one is growing on a 3 metre high lattice support; most of the plant is covered in these white flowers and buds. I've just managed to plant out one of 6 cuttings - 1, I gave away, the others failed - I took a few years ago. I hope to train the one remaining into bush form.

B.

RE: Alamanda blanchettii.

I knew white ones existed, but so far had never seen one.
Thanks for posting.
