HAVE: adenium obesum seed (desert rose)

For anyone who does not know this plant, it is a small growing (probably max 1-3 feet I don't know mine are in pots) succulent type, related to oleander, with a nice fat "bottle-tree" caudiform trunk and pretty flowers, mostly pink or pink & white. But other colours are possible - red, white etc. They are good for bonsai.
This is not my own seed, but was sent to me as a "mix". Far more than I could use and I want to find adventurous people willing to give some seeds a start.
They are not hard to grow but mature plants need some care (excellent drainage and no over-watering in winter).
Any takers?

Alison, I'd love to give these a try--will send you an email. Will probably have to be SAE only as I can't think of anything I have that you might like ... unless you want some baby Cananga odorata seedlings?

In fact, I think it was you who gave me a white brugmansia? I finally managed to plant it out in winter and it's now covered in creamy white, citrusy-scented blooms at night: heaven! I also have an apricot-coloured one--pretty, but not covered in blooms or beautifully scented like the cream one. I can cut off a piece if you'd like to try striking it.

If you can't get a free trade, you could buy adenium seeds from ebay (see link below). I've also seen the plants for sale at Bunnings.

Here is a link that might be useful: adenium seeds from ebay

Well and truly past their used-by, if any were left. (2006) These seeds need to be fresh! . Good luck in your hunt, seeds are possible, seedings are possible, just depends on where you are.
PS when posting a "want" please "unblock" your e-mail address, don't make me or others have to work to find YOU.
