RE: WANTED: Wanted - Tacca integrifolia seeds

Hi Marleneann,
I have a bat plant that has flowered once, but doing rather well. If you could tell me how to get seeds off it, next time it flowers I would give it a go for you.
Cheers, Mel...

Greetings Marlene
Aren't they the most incredible flower! Not quite hot enough down here for ideal conditions, but some years ago I know that Seederama of Wahroonga (Sydney) did list Tacca chantrierii ('Bat Flower")seeds for sale.
Good hunting!

Bunnings have been selling Tacca chantrieri recently, for a puny $15 or so. No, I don't work for them. Might be a sight faster than waiting for seeds, then the germination etc. My Tacca is in flower right now - our climate is temperate. South west Sydney.
