WANTED: Bulbs

I live in the greater Toowoomba regional council, with 100% no water use outside the home. That means not a drop from the tap on mains supply to the garden etc, so we have to save and recycle our shower and washing machine water, if we do not have rain water tank/s or a bore. So our gardens have sorted themselves out, with the tough still alive. I love growing bulbs, they survive and a few still flower. The water supply is down to under 10% in the dams and bores supply most of the town water now, and some of them are failing. There will be a pipeline to Toowoomba within 2 years with recycled water from Brisbane. So we are praying for rain in this part of SEQ.
We can only hope and pray for lots of heaven sent rain. I have not looked at this site for a couple of years due mainly to the drought, and would like to see it take off again, as I had a lot of fun dealing with other grdeners |
