RE: HAVE: many new seeds in my exchange list

Hi
I have some big seeds they are from Queen crepe myrtle and also iris type (wild, red) if you're interested. Would these be any good for floristry work I can send you picture. I would love some night scented tobacco and hardenbergia though. I have just passed my final subject and am now an RN. Jan

I notice in your list you are after anything that is good for drying - - one spectacular I have grown is lemon grass - we get three or four metre stalks with seed heads on top - may be worth trying.

She Who Must Be Obeyed made a spectacular arrangement last year from the dried stalks with the seed heads/spears.

If your interested I'll send you a head - I have'nt tried growing from seed so I don't klnow if they are viable.

If not - the plants cost $1.20 at my local markets and grow very quick. The stalks I mentioned grew in a little over 6 or 7 months

ciao and good gardening
