Hi All,
I'd love some Corymbia ficifolia seeds for SASE or swap?
I have some fresh Telopea mongaensis (Mountain waratah)
to swap or lots of the more common eucs., Blue Flax lilly, Bulbine bulbosa, Yam daisy, plum pine and heaps of different vege seeds.
cheers

| I can send you some seed soon. I have just harvested the nuts from my bright red variety and from my bright orange. I also have a pale pink. They will not come true from seed but there should be some interesting colors. If you want some when the seed dries please email me. Cheers Lillypilly |

Hi Lillypilly, I'd kind of given up on them as I spoke to a local nurserywomen and she said it was pretty difficult to keep them alive given the temperatures we get around here. But after they get old enough they seem to cope better. However, I'm still willing to experiment as they (I think) are the most stunning Australian native tree I'd be able to grow around here. Re your email. I went through this a few months ago (most annoyingly!). You have to re-enroll with garden-web and then lie to the registration robot by giving it a false US address, as it just doesn't accept addresses outside the US (But it doesn't tell you that!). Use Oregon zip code 97229 and then the robot will give you email access. After that you will be able to send and recieve emails from other members. The most annoying thing about the sign-on script is that it just doesn't tell you that something went wrong! Anyway, send me an email if you can, as I'm not checking this site very often anymore. Ausgarden is a local site which most OZ internet gardeners have gone to. Cheers Karl |
