somone about a month ago posted a request for large quantities of palm seeds - I don't know who it was, but I think they were queenslanders.
Head off to the Royal Womens Hospital - there is a large palm fruiting there at the moment - and the fruit are enormous - bigger than figs and the first tree is loaded with ripe fruit....ditto - buderim/caloundra/maroochydore - all of the street palms have ripe/ripening fruiit on them - all you'll need is a long ladder and a strong back - or even ask some of the households - there are palms all over the sunshine coast doing what comes naturally.
