HAVE: beans

Posted by fluff Brisbane (My Page) on

I'm assuming my old post was deleted because I forgot to tick the 'have' box.

I have lots of yardlong beans - variety 'stickless wonder'. They are prolific growers. You can eat them raw or use them in cooking. My neighbours even eat the new leaves. Two vines produces more than enough for us and they haven't died back after a few months of heavy production. I also have tounge of fire and cherokee wax beans, but they take a lot of effort to grow.

Where do I go to edit my 'wants' and 'haves' list?

I planted mine (2 of 3 lived) a few months ago. I planted another seed about a month ago and it is a few meters long but hasn't put out beans yet - that spot doesn't get much sun. I think you could plant them all year round in Brisbane. I think they crop after a month or so and keep going - I haven't had one stop on me yet.

I would love some of your yardlong beans. Stamped, Self-Addressed Envelope (SSAE) or exchange? Check out my exchange page (click on the "My Page" link as top of this individual posting alongside my name, then click on "My Exchange Lists") to see if I have anything you would like.

To edit your exchange lists, scroll to the bottom of this entire page and click on the "Member Pages" link in the green menu bar at the bottom. This should take you to the GW Member pages and should automatically open with a personal welcome to you. You can then click on the "Edit your Exchange Lists" link.

Thanks. I've updated my lists. They are hard to find.

Why would I send a SSAE? Email me the answer if necessary.
