Here is the first (not yet ripe) Faux Marianas Peace from Volvos seeds. I knew it was wrong when it came up with regular leaves. They are sort of heart shaped with a pointy bottom. What have you made Volvo :-)

Here is a link that might be useful: Faux Marianas Peace

Cut him up yesterday and he has empty cavities and thick skin. Could use them for stuffing. Does anyone do this with tomatoes? Richard

Absolutely. I've got a couple of recipes. Preliminaries: carefully scoop out any seeds, remove some of the dividing walls leaving three or four. Sprinkle the inside with salt, sit them upside down for excess liquid to drain. Don't squeeze the toms at all. #One: blanch baby prawns, shell and de-vein them, coarsely chop them, mix with some good mayo, capers and a smidge of English or Dijon mustard, and seasonings. #Two: A tin of good tuna in olive oil. Drain and mash. Add good mayo, a smidge of mustard, some chopped capers, and seasonings.

They sound yummy Finbar. I will try some with the next ripe ones.

Well I got around to it. Used green banana prawns (they were only $16 a kilo). The taste test came up trumps, yum.
Thanks Finbar

That looks great! Will have to try this when I harvest some big tomatoes. :)

Heres a picking of Volvos Faux. Prolific bugger it is for sure as I would have given the same amount to the chooks that had been bird attacked. Gonna sack that dog :-)

And here are a couple cut in half. They are meatier and juicier than the first few
