| Hello to everyone on the forum. Sorry I have not posted for some time. Now that I have more time this should be a more regular thing.
Three years ago I found a yellow when ripe tomato in a row of 1884 plants. I could not decide if it was Hughes or Basinga-although I lean more towards Basinga. For several seasons the saved seed demonstrated stable characteristics. However, last season one plant provided green when ripe fruit. The plant was identical to the other Hughes/Basinga plants.
Always on the look out for green mutations/crosses? the seed was saved to grow this year. Well all three plants are identical in morphology and one of them has given a green when ripe tomato. What is provided below is an example. I gave Grub some of the same seed so it will be interesting to see Grub gets too.
