Bugs on the beans

Something is eating my beans. They haven't 'beaned' yet but the leaves are chomped at and the ones that aren't chomped have little track marks all over them.
Any suggestions as to what i should do to repel whatever is snacking on my beans? |

| Could be snails. Beer traps might do the trick. Or it could be caterpillars. Look closer at the leaves and try to find them. Then squish them. Or just remove them. Depending on how angry you are at them. ;) |

| I'm with Spatz - snails, slugs or caterpillars. A night time check with a torch should identify the culprit(s). The tracks on the leaves have got me stumped though. I immediately thought of leafminers but I don't think there is one that attacks beans. Could be wrong there though. Wouldn't be the first time! |
