hi all,

we've got a lime tree that we planted approx 3 yrs ago and although it's been flowering and we do get tiny little fruits, they never develop into proper size lime.
The tree is in a very sunny/hot spot, we water daily and wee on it nearly daily. Anyone any ideas?

cheers, Jan

g'day jan,

not sure i can help as i am no expert on why fruiting trees don't fruit, but maybe you lack pollinators ie.,. bees?

we grow citrus also limes and never have had this problem.

als you can ask this question over at:

garden express

Here is a link that might be useful: len's garden page

Maybe your tree is just too young. I have a tangello tree and its about 5 years old and only now has decent fruit on it, before that they where little and sparse.
